Jackie made her way to California from Hondo, Texas but did not forget her roots by paying homage to her family members and recipes. Our customer favorites are Uncle Greg’s Ribs, JP’s Chicken & Waffles and Laverne’s Sweet Potato Pie!

What started out in 1998 as catering dishes for family and churches turned into a growing success. In 2013 we launched our bakery, Noonie Cakes, specializing in unique southern style cupcakes. In 2018 we celebrated the Jackie's Place grand opening in Japantown. After an unfortunate fire in 2020 - we are happy to announce that our MINOR SET BACK only set us up for a MAJOR COME BACK!
